Do factory farm animals have a certain right if so, are they being followed?
My topic is about getting factory farm animals better treatment. The way I see it is that theses animals are not just an object. We actually consume them (stating the obvious), with that being said the way animals are treated are terrible and under horrible conditions. What I want to get out of this is improving the animals life so that they get healthier and then we as consumers could run a lower risk of getting a disease. I know that by providing a solution that would make my point stronger as well so I will be looking to find different alternatives to eating meat from animals. I know that it sounds weird but by using science we could get the same meat from the same animal but not killing the animal. I also wanted to talk about the laws that companies could be breaking but I found a law that protects animals but this specific law exempts all birds. That means Chickens, these happen to be the most produced for their meat and eggs. I am having a hard time finding anything on chickens that could protect them. I'm also trying to find a way to fit some way to bring up money into the topic. I was thinking about talking about why the factories find it more convenient and cheaper to not take care of the animals.
If anyone has any suggestions on anything that has to do with laws that protect the animals or if there are other topics that could make my paper stronger that would be great.
