Processed Foods On Mental/Emotional Health

"Nutritional Psychiatry: Your Brain on Food," by Eva Selhub, speaks about the effects of certain types of food on a person's mental and emotional health. If your topic speaks about the effects of either organic or processed foods on the mental well-being of people then this article would work. It is provided by Harvard Medical School and contains many other articles, statistics, and examples to support its claims. The main focus of Selhub is that a person's brain needs the right kind of fuel in order to produce the right kind of energy in order to work efficiently. If the brain is, instead, given cheap fuel then it will work at a slow pace with results of sloppy work. All types of food have their own special effects on the brain such as affecting someone's mood or mental processing such as their thinking and their feelings. The facts provided in the article can be used to support any work that has to deal with the effects of either organic or processed foods on the brains of people or the feelings of people. Alongside the given facts, there are also many hyperlinks to other articles and statistics that provide much more information on the topic of mental and emotional health such as depression, global experiments, and how a person's diet as a youth can affect their mentality as they get older. With this one article you can gain access to many other resources. http://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/nutritional-psychiatry-your-brain-on-food-201511168626

  1. The affecting food of any source, just as organic or processed it can affect the mind. I know when I am hungry, my mid only thinks about the food I am about to eat or the food I want to eat. Usually I do not focus on anything else because my mind is only on the food, I want to eat. Food can also have a total affect on your life, like emotionally. When going through a break up, females usually eat ice cream or eat a lot of sweets.
