obesity from school lunches

The topic that I am researching for my paper is obesity coming from everyday school lunches. Obesity is one of the biggest problems facing the people of America today and is starting to have an impact on kids too. Studies show that bringing lunches from home are less likely to become obese. In the article,"Childhood: Obesity and School Lunches" Roni Caryn Rabin, the author of the article, states that,"those who regularly had the school lunches were 29 percent more likely to be obese than those who brought home lunches."  They came to this conclusion because "Most school lunches rely heavily on high-energy, low-nutrient-value food, because it's cheaper." Something that can also prevent obesity with eating home lunches is spending less time at home on the TV or playing video games. In doing that obesity increased by 19 percent for kids plus the ones who ate the school lunches, increased the speed of their obesity percentage. From the kids spending everyday playing games for 2 hours or more they an spend that time but also put some activity into their daily lives for that obesity rate to go down. Something that has me thinking issssssssssssssss how can we raise money for better school lunches instead of buying useless things like an electric sign we just got at Mayfair. I was thinking maybe we can take some money from a different department of the school to help fund. Either that or we can just tell people to bring lunches instead of buying school lunches.
