new perspective
After writing this incredibly long research paper I found out a lot disturbing things when it came to our food. There isn't that much scientific research on the this topic but I was able to find some information on this topic. I never knew that majority of the crops that we grow here in the United States were mainly genetically modified. Its crazy to think that most of the processed foods we eat now a days is mainly made up of a corn. The majority of the corn that is grown is also genetically modified. It makes me think about how the government is trying to implement healthy eating into all of our public schools to ensure that the new generation of kids will be eating a healthy and balanced diet. If I knew about all of these genetically modified foods were over powering our states I would've been more conscious about what I use to eat. Growing up with a single parent my mother wasn't always able to get the most expensive produce or shall we call it the organic produce. I would've asked my mom to be way more conscious about the produce she would buy. I would also ask her to not buy as much fast food because the fast food industry is trying to sell in mass with out the regards of being organic. I'm not a protestor but for this instance I would say to all of the farms that grow genetically modified produce, i'm willing to start a protest to start growing only organic produce.

Bro, your topic was so interesting but it made me realize that the food we consume can actually be treated with steroids . It scared me, knowing the fact that it's true . But oh well food still taste good but stopping that habit .
ReplyDeleteIt is surprising how many of our foods are made with the basic corn and how they are treated with many chemicals. However, many people don't see eye to eye with much of this information which is why the fast food industry and other modified produce is still successful. If only there were better ways to convince people that cheaper isn't always better when it comes to food.
