This is a good source if you are looking into organic food and how the big corporations are taking over the organic industry. The main idea of this article is that the smaller organic industries are suffering (except for a few), while the big corporations who like to pretend that they're organic are succeeding and growing. Big corporations see that organic foods are new-found profit, so they feel a need to try and take over the industry. To big food corporations, all that matters is money, and the food they produce doesn't matter as much. Due to Americans wanting to eat healthier, anyone seems to buy anything with an organic label on it. This article does go in depth with how the non-organic companies are getting away with this and how they are trying to shut out the little guys, and how no one does anything about it.

The other issue with these fake organic foods is that people believe they are truly organic, but that is not necessarily true. It is good for us to eat organic, but not if part of the food is pumped with chemicals so it fills us up more. This article may help raise awareness for the problems that need to be addressed dealing with Organic food. Also, the New York Times is a very good source, so it is very trustworthy for statistics and data. If you are researching organic food, their website has a few others that look like good sources. I'm looking to do an argument for the benefit of organic farming in general, whether being taken over by big name companies is beneficial.
