My research paper is about pesticides and how it affects children's lives that are near large farms. This article that I found explains that hazardous and dangerous health issues that can be caused by pesticides. Pesticides can have a long term effect like cancer or a short term. The article mentions how pesticides can effect the central nervous system in children. It also mentions how exposure to pesticides are increased when children play in grass or putting objects inside of their mouths. Children are the most vulnerable to pesticides because of their systems (immune, nervous, etc) are not fully developed. The pesticides can put a pause on their physical and mental abilities and can be life threatening.
