Processed Foods on Your Health
For my research paper, I'm delving into the effects that processed foods can have on a person's mental and emotional health over a long period of time. Does a diet filled with processed foods negatively affect a person's mental and emotional health? In what ways? There are many links between a person's diet and their physical health but what about their non-physical health. An unnatural and non-healthy diet can lead to depression and moodiness because the brain isn't being supplied with enough nutrients to keep it satisfied and in its normal condition. I used many sources from sites that ended in org and gov because these seem to be the most reliable for containing accurate data on how different kinds of foods can affect a person's mental and emotional health. For example, a person can become very moody if they are on a diet with very little nutrition. On the other hand, they can feel better and focus better with proper nutrition such as from whole foods because it is natural to the body and can be absorbed for energy much more efficiently. These sources came from people who were in the biology and nutrition fields themselves which supports many of their arguments because they would be considered to be very reliable in providing proper information instead of theories or made up information about certain foods such as websites that end in com. My question would be beneficial to the general public because it shares the benefits of a proper and natural diet. It also displays the negative effects of a non-healthy and processed food diet.
